Lee Feldman Disc Jockey Services
About Lee Feldman, Disc Jockey

I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and raised in Bucks County. I became interested in music in school, and was a member of the Concert Choir all through school and began to play guitar when I was 11. When I was 14, I played my first Wedding Reception. I worked with “Sound Spectrum” as well as other bands until I went to college. I also did a brief stint as a Mummer and marched down Broad Street in the Mummers Parade.

I attended Bucks County Community College as a music major, and later took more eclectic courses. The music didn’t wait, however, so I ended up going on the road with a Female vocalist for about a year.

I learned about the music business by doing it. I worked in numerous bands from duos to full-blown 8 piece horn bands. I even managed to record with a band called “Kabuzz”. Great people, great name, good music, but we didn’t have the management to aim us in the right direction.

I have been married since 1976, and together with my wife, we raised two children. We moved into the central Pennsylvania area in 1977 and back to her family home in East Petersburg in 1992.

In the early 90’s, I was able to get a little time from my busy work schedule to do something fun. I entered the Pennsylvania Broadcast Institute in Reading, PA., and then became a DJ at various radio stations in the area.

I found the radio business to be very restrictive in that things were organized for me. I wasn’t able to communicate with my audience because everything was structured and scripted.

I became a Mobile Disc Jockey, because I liked the idea of working with a live audience, and being able to tailor my performance to the mood of the crowd. It was one of the best decisions of my life!

I am always working towards improvement and becoming the best Disc Jockey I can possibly be!

In this world, I believe it’s also a good thing to not be focused on just one thing. I enjoy music, but I also enjoy working in different areas and volunteering.

Since 1992, when I moved into East Petersburg, I got involved in several organizations of which I am very proud. I joined the East Petersburg Fire Company and became a Fire Police. I also joined the East Petersburg Lions Club. Through those two associations, I became involved in East Petersburg Day. I am also an associate member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and the Sheriffs association.

I encourage everyone to volunteer when and where they can. It is very rewarding.
